Handoffs

Handoffs tell Concierge where to send visitors who need sales help, support, or follow-up.

Messages comes first

Messages keeps the record of visitor requests and the working conversation. Connected destinations help the team notice and respond faster.

Destination types

  • Slack: fast team alerts.
  • Telegram: alerts to a Telegram group, channel, or direct chat, with command replies back to the visitor conversation.
  • Taskologic: follow-up tasks and shared work tracking.
  • Email: simple owner notifications.
  • SMS: urgent owner or specialist pings.
  • Custom app: a custom destination for teams that already use one.
  • WhatsApp: managed alerts for opted-in team numbers when business setup is complete.

Connect a custom app

  1. Ask the developer for the public HTTPS receiver URL and an optional signing secret.
  2. Open Routing for the correct Concierge site.
  3. Add the Custom app destination and enter a recognizable connection name.
  4. Choose only the visitor moments the app should receive.
  5. Save the destination and trigger one safe test moment.
  6. Ask the developer to confirm the site, event, and delivery ID before enabling live alerts.

What your developer needs

  • The receiver must accept JSON over HTTPS and respond quickly.
  • If you provide a signing secret, the receiver must verify it before processing the alert.
  • The receiver should use the delivery ID to ignore duplicates.
  • Routing alert signatures are different from CRM Webhook signatures.
  • Send the developer to the Routing webhooks guide for payloads and verification code.

Telegram replies

Telegram alerts include the conversation link and a reply command. Use that command when replying from Telegram so Concierge knows which live visitor should receive the message.
