Install Concierge

Install Concierge on an existing website after Site Brain, Preview, and Messages are ready.

Install only after at least one message destination is connected and a test visitor question works as expected.

Before installing

  • The correct site is selected in Concierge.
  • Site Brain has been reviewed.
  • Preview answers feel accurate and helpful.
  • Messages has at least one destination connected.

Copy the install code

  1. Open Concierge and select the site.
  2. Go to the install step.
  3. Choose the accent color Concierge should use.
  4. Copy the install code shown on the page.

Add it to the website

Paste the install code in the website area that loads on every public page. Most site builders call this custom code, footer code, integrations, or tag manager.

Check the live site

  1. Open the public website in a private browser window.
  2. Confirm the Concierge launcher appears.
  3. Ask a realistic visitor question.
  4. Trigger a handoff and confirm it appears in Messages.
